The Newest Member of Our Family
Forgive me. This post has nothing to do with the house, other than the carport. It's the easiest way to share photos with all of you.
My 1997 BMW served me well, but reached a cantankerous age where many things started to break at once. You hate to put a price on the health of a loyal car, and yet, it was getting too expensive to maintain. Much like Goldilocks searching for the right bed to nap on at the three bears' house, I searched for my new car. The Scion XA was too loud with not enough torque, and not safe enough. The Volkswagen Jetta was too sporty with a rougher ride than I like. The 2003 BMW 3 series was just right!
I love my new car. It's hard to tell from the photos, but it is grey-green with tan leather interior.
I talked to my mom today, and told her that Dad would have been proud of the great deal I negotiated on this car. Chad wonders exactly how I got such a great deal. I jokingly answered that the less questions he asks about how I got such a great deal, the better. JOKINGLY!
